Nanoha Takamachi

Here's my first attempt at a piece of fanart in a *long* time!

This is Nanoha Takamachi, from the anime series "Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha". Since this was my first time drawing her, I decided to draw Nanoha in her barrier jacket from the first season. Her outfit back then was a bit more simplified than the ones she wears in later seasons and in the movie, but it's still pretty cute. I just wish I could do it more justice!

I tried to add a bit of perspective to this picture, with the way Nanoha is reaching out in front of her, but I'm not too sure how well that came out. ^^' The shading could still use a little work, but at least she looks happy and colourful! XD I got rather lazy with the background, though... it's just a gradient fill and some picture-tubed confetti and streamers!

As usual with me, this was hand-drawn and inked, before being coloured in using my literally ancient copy of PSP7.
